California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) is a multi-year initiative by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to transform and strengthen California's Medi-Cal program. It aims to create a more equitable, coordinated, and person-centered system that prioritizes whole-person care, addresses social determinants of health, and improves health outcomes.

California is the first state to enact coverage of Medically Tailored Meals for its 14.5 million Medi-Cal members with CMS-issued reimbursable codes.

Rfoodx operates statewide to provide qualifying CalAIM members with nutritious foods for their unique health needs, such as Medically Tailored Meals and Produce Boxes.
